Gulf Coast Medical Center is a 176-bed acute care hospital located in Panama City, FL. The hospital has a long tradition of providing quality cancer care for patients in Bay and surrounding counties. The American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer accredits the hospitals cancer program.
Gulf Coast Medical Center is the only hospital in the area with a permanent PET/CTthe most advanced diagnostic technology for the diagnosis of cancer. Gulf Coast Cancer Treatment Center
Since its establishment in 1991, the Gulf Coast Cancer Treatment Center (GCCTC) has been helping patients achieve the best quality of life possible through world-class cancer treatment offered close to home and near the support of family and friends. The practice provides high standards for patient satisfaction established through comprehensive cancer care. GCCTCs board certified oncologists provide on-site radiation oncology and medical oncology services for patients.
GCCTC has been fully accredited by the American College of Radiation Oncology (ACRO) since 1997. The ACRO accreditation evaluates both the clinical and physical aspects of the practice, and strives to ensure the established radiation oncology practice standards are reasonably met. GCCTC believes that through this accreditation procedure they can demonstrate the high quality of their radiation oncology practice to patients.
